History
History
BISC Łódź is the sister school of The British International School of Cracow and Wrocław. BISC Cracow was founded in order to provide a top quality education for the growing international community in Cracow and opened in September 1995. BISC Wrocław was opened in September 2006 in response to an invitation from the City Council of Wrocław. All three schools were founded by four dedicated and experienced educationalists:

Andy Harris – GLCM & LLCM from London College of Music; MTC teaching diploma from London University. He has extensive teaching experience in England and Poland and is a published composer who has written several musicals for children. In 2005, Andy’s achievements in international education were recognised by ECIS (European Council for International Schools) who awarded him their Award for the Promotion of International Education. | |

Wendy Murphy – GBSM in music teachng and ABSM in piano performing from Birmingham Conservatoire; PGCE teaching diploma from Leeds University. She has extensive teaching experience in England and Poland and wrote articles for ‘The Warsaw Voice’ when teaching at St Paul’s International School in Warsaw. |

Wieslaw Oginski – MGR in Mathematics, Philosophy & Teaching from the Jagiellonian University, Kraków. Previously he was the Headmaster of ‘World’ Private Liceum No. 4, Kraków and he is currently Head of the Polish Section of BISC. |

Pawel Daniel Zalewski – MA in English Philology & Teaching from the Jagiellonian University, Krakow. Previously he was a secondary school teacher, then the co-owner of “World School of English” and ‘World’ Private Liceum No. 4, Kraków and is currently the Director of Administration of BISC. |
